License Agreement

This agreement is between you and the ClipAudit team ("we") and covers the prebuilt ClipAudit application distributed from clipaudit.app ("the App") and the activation service. By installing or using the App you accept it. The source code delivered with your purchase is licensed separately under the ClipAudit Source License included with it.
1. What you get
- A perpetual license to use the App on one macOS device per license key.
- One year of updates from the date of purchase. Versions released in that year stay licensed with no time limit; later versions require an optional, discounted renewal.
- The complete source code of the App under the ClipAudit Source License, delivered with your receipt: read it, change it, build it for your own Macs; do not redistribute it.
- A 14-day trial with every feature. After the trial the App keeps recording your clipboard log; clipboard history, secret protection and shell-history hooks pause until a license is activated.
2. Devices
One key activates one device. You may deactivate a device on the activation page and activate another at any time; when you do, remove the license from the old Mac (Settings → License).
3. What you may not do
- Share, publish, sell or sublicense your license key or the signed license file.
- Circumvent the activation or trial mechanism of the prebuilt App. (You may build your own copy from the source instead, under the Source License.)
- Use the App to break the law, including to collect other people's clipboard contents without their consent.
4. Privacy
The App sends no data; see the privacy policy.
5. Updates and support
We may release updates that change or remove features. Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis; see the contact page.
6. Warranty and liability
The App is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.
7. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination, stop using the prebuilt App. Sections 3, 6 and 8 survive termination.
8. General
This agreement is governed by the laws of Vietnam. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. It is the entire agreement about the prebuilt App and replaces any earlier terms.
